Fr. Jay Cartwright, JCL appointed Vicar for Canonical Affairs

 On Saturday August 24, 2024, the Catholic University of America conferred the J.C.L. (Licentiate in Canon Law) degree on Fr. Jay Cartwright.

We warmly congratulate Fr. Jay on this stellar achievement.

Now, as a fully qualified canon lawyer, Fr. Jay, in addition to his current duties, will assume the responsibility of Vicar for Canonical Affairs in our Archdiocese.

This responsibility was made vacant by the recent elevation of Bishop Kendrick J. Forbes, J.C.L.
